Goals:

To improve the leaders’ knowledge about HIV/AIDS and national policies;
To build capacity of prison medical staff in diagnosing, treating and caring for PLWHA and to improve their counselling skills;
To build capacity in IEC development and develop/adapt training manuals for police and inmates;
To improve prison police knowledge about HIV/AIDS to improve their attitudes towards PLWHA and build their capacity in responding to occupational exposure; and,
To improve inmates’ knowledge of HIV/AIDS, improve their attitudes towards HIV/AIDS and support skills development.
