To raise the awareness of community leaders and health workers about HIV/AIDS;
To improve the knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention in the general population and high risk groups in the community;
To create a non-discriminative environment; and,
To develop, implement and evaluate a model for conducting community-based health education on HIV/AIDS.
