Conducting Health Education on HIV/AIDS Prevention in Women’s Federation System

This project will support the development of capacity in the Regional and Prefecture level of the WF and will also support the development of community level women’s support groups in Urumqi, Yining and Kashgar City. The community groups will provide support to women who are family members of PLWHA and IDUs.

Goals:

• To raise the awareness of leaders of Women’s Federation in HIV/AIDS prevention;
• To build the training capacity of Women’s Federation in HIV/AIDS; and,
• To change the attitude and behavior of staff of Women’s Federation and community women towards PLWHA.
