Harm reduction and care in Yining City

The objectives are to:

• Reduce stigma and discrimination in communities towards PLWHA;
• Introduce and develop harm reduction strategies in communities;
• Reduce drug related harm through NSEP and condom promotion; and,
• Develop a model for home based care in the community to PLWHA.
• This project has been completed and the lessons learned have been used to scale up NSP interventions across Yining City and in three districts in Urumqi.
